Total Knee Replacement for Those in Tampa, Brandon, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Lakeland & Neighboring Regions
At Advanced Regenerative Orthopedics, we have been performing total joint replacement surgeries for many years, but while we are widely considered joint replacement experts, we will never recommend a total knee replacement or other joint replacement surgery without first determining that other less invasive treatment options won’t provide a better alternative solution.
If you are suffering from knee pain, Advanced Regenerative Orthopedics can help. Symptoms we can help to alleviate include the following and more:
- Mild, moderate or severe knee pain
- Decreased mobility
- Knee inflammation
- Locking/buckling of the knee
Our team is comprised of incredibly skilled and experienced orthopedic doctors and surgeons who are capable of providing patients with replacement knee alternatives when it is in the patient’s best interest to do so. Replacement knee alternatives that we may recommend include arthroscopic surgical intervention, medications, stem cell therapy and more. At times, medications or innovative treatment options such as stem cell injections are able to decrease or eliminate pain and improve mobility. Other times, we will recommend a minimally invasive arthroscopic procedure to surgically correct your condition.
During an arthroscopic knee surgery, our expert surgical team will make a very small incision (of less than ½ of an inch) and perform any surgical corrections without the need for the large, unsightly scarring that’s typically seen during a traditional total knee replacement procedure. Arthroscopic procedures are especially appropriate for joint repairs, since patients experience less pain and a reduced recovery time when compared to traditional surgeries. It is only when these alternative treatment options are not capable of bringing you relief that we will likely recommend a total joint replacement.
